  • Overview

    The candidate will provide US and multi-national operational and systems architecture development and analysis in products to support capability gap analysis and identify interoperability and capability improvement opportunities. CONUS/OCONUS Travel Required up to 15 percent.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support to JS J6 Architectures and Integration Division (AID) Mission Architecture Branch (MAB) for mission based analysis efforts in support of coalition interoperability to include friendly and adversary mission thread architecture consisting of hybrid DODAF operational and systems views.  
    • Conduct research on adversary and friendly capabilities, interview technical and operational subject matter experts, and facilitate table top analysis.
    • Provide support to CIAV, FMN Architecture Task Force and other multi-national architecture efforts.
    • Preparation and execution of detailed architecture views and analysis reports.
    • Ability to research, analyze and map friendly and adversary TTPs, Command and Control structures, and capabilities.
    • Perform Joint Staff and Combatant Command-level staff coordination.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university; or a minimum of ten (10) years specific and related responsible command and staff experience in the U.S. Military.
    • Five plus years military/joint experience
    • Ability to translate visual depictions of process into viable architecture products.
    • Ability to develop DoDAF architectures in support of Mission Based Analysis methods
    • Knowledgeable in Joint and multi-national tactical and operational mission processes, preferably in the areas of Command and Control, Global Fires,, and Cyberspace Operations
    • Ability to interview technical and operational subject matter experts for project data collection
    • Ability to facilitate table top data collection workshops
    • Knowledge of data analysis toolsets and usage
    • Coalition operational experience highly desired
    • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS (NATO) up to 15%

    Computer Skills

    Required:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Architecture Tool experience (MS-Visio, SPARX-EA)
