    ITC Defense requires a Mid-level Systems Engineer to provide engineering support to government clients within the defense industry.

    Responsibilities

    Tackle complex technical problems, provide solutions, and assist the team as it guides system development into a final product.  Apply knowledge of the systems engineering field across one or more components of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including concept development, technical planning, requirements development, system analysis, system design, integration, verification, transition, operations, obsolescence, and disposal. Participate in program integrated product teams (IPTs), system engineering technical reviews (SETRs), system certification processes, and specialty engineering activities.

    Qualifications

     

    • 3-5 years of experience with systems engineering within the DoD
    • Experience as a systems engineer with a focus on requirements development, integration planning, and test and evaluation
    • Experience with planning integration and test events and reporting verification results
    • Experience with analyzing test plans and conducting test readiness reviews
    • Experience with writing test reports and managing the requirements verification process
    • Experience with the SE process for system acquisitions, including systems engineering plans, SETRs, system certification processes, and specialty engineering activities
    • Knowledge of the SE discipline across one or more components of the system development life cycle (SDLC), including concept development, technical planning, requirements development, system analysis, system design, integration, verification, transition, operations, obsolescence, and disposal
    • BS degree (engineering-related) strongly preferred
