This is an Intermediate level Deployment (Site Activation) Support Analyst position providing deployment, logistical, sustainment, and operational support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This support includes, but is not limited to, providing or performing planning, analysis, management, and deployed site execution as they relate to these functional areas:

  1. Deployment planning, support, and sustainment from project concept through transition to operations
  2. Stakeholder coordination through the execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams
  3. Facility acquisition process
  4. Problem resolution
  5. Execution of deployed site operations and support services

Travel is required ~ 3 – 4 months per year.


  • Supports planning, coordination, synchronization, and execution of site activation and BMDS system deployment requirements.
  • Develops acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions.
  • Develops program planning documents (schedules, statements of work, cost estimate support, activation plans).
  • Performs special research or technical studies critical to deployment and site sustainment support functions.
  • Develops site activation facilities requirements documentation.
  • Researches industry business best practices and assists with incorporating these into Agency/company policies, procedures, and processes to promote continual process improvement.
  • Assist with planning and execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams.
  • Supports development of MDA policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices.
  • Coordinating and execution of daily administration of BMDS deployed sites.


  • Intermediate Level – 10+ years’ experience and BS/BA degree. A MA/MS in any
    field may be substituted for the BA/BS in a related field with a total of 6 years relevant experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project)
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Demonstrated briefing and writing skills, technical writing capability desired
  • Ability to work independently or within teams to solve problems
  • Ability to work multiple projects/tasks for different managers
  • Experience developing and implementing program activities; coordinating efforts of multiple stakeholders, prime contractors and subcontractors, and support service personnel
  • Problem resolving skills in the areas of site deployment and site sustainment to meet mission requirements
  • Project management experience during site deployment, to include construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management.
