Overview

ITC Defense is looking for a self-starter to oversee and drive the recruitment process, complying with federal and state employment laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management in the determination of staffing needs and job descriptions
  • Initiate requisitions, screen and proactively identify qualified talent and coordinate interviews with hiring manager and/or on-site lead
  • Maintain and update job descriptions for all positions
  • Conduct reference and education/certification checks as needed
  • Captures and manages all candidate activity using the iCIMS Talent Platform
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as job boards, social and professional networking, outreach, and diversity recruiting efforts
  • Assist management to develop new and innovative recruiting campaigns and branding
  • Consistent and timely follow up with hiring managers on all recruiting activity
  • Develops and maintain an excellent relationship with candidates and other members of the recruiting effort to ensure achievement of staffing goals
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, bonus eligibility, etc.)
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations
  • Assists management in the new hire onboarding process and general office administrative functions as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for Technical and DoD cleared positions
  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge and ability to use current social media technologies, and other various online databases 
  • Experience working with iCIMS, a plus
