Overview

ITC Defense requires Radar Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Sensors (SN) Systems Engineering (SNE) Team to perform Verification and Validation functions.

 

Work Location:  Huntsville, Alabama.

Responsibilities

The analyst will support the MDA/SN Systems Engineering (SNE) Analysis Team through: analysis of Digital radar M&S, Open Systems Architecture Sensor Models (OSM), for each of the SN radars, SBX, COBRA DANE, UEWR, and AN/TPY-2; development of system, component, and root cause analyses and assessments related to Critical Engagement Conditions (CEC) and the implementation of the SN M&S V&V Plan; develop and review technical memorandums, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of V&V analyses; develop MATLAB tools that support the V&V team V&V parameters root cause analysis as needed that clearly articulate M&S capabilities and limitations ; develop analysis tool algorithms to view and compare M&S V&V data; attend meetings related to V&V Analysis team; Interaction with SNE M&S team to support M&S development priorities and understanding of V&V issues revealed; support government team in presentation of briefings to SNE staff.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance Required
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in related field; or a minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
  • Strong MATLAB coding/programing background
  • Strong analytical and data assessment skills to support in-depth analysis
  • Written and oral communications skills commensurate with the role required
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce consistently exceptional work products
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with individuals and groups at various levels of authority and responsibility within the organization
  • Proficiency in preparing and reporting technical information to peers and Government leadership

Preferred

  • Knowledge and experience in BMD systems; Operational Radars systems and their system level interactions; Associated Radars data outputs; System Sensors Analysis; Simulation Data Sensors Analysis; M&S Operations Sensor and Analysis; software and algorithm development
